Join us for a live, 45-minute presentation about Ring Ventures, Alumni Venture Group’s Texas A&M-focused venture capital fund. The discussion will be led by Ring Ventures Managing Partner Larry Warnock and is open to all former students and friends of Texas A&M University.

During the session, Larry will discuss:

The goal and structure of the fund
The value of the Alumni Venture Group model
Some examples of current portfolio companies
The benefits of diversifying into venture capital
The minimum requirements needed to invest in the fund
There will be time for open questions during the call

Larry Warnock, Managing Partner - Ring Ventures

Larry Warnock, Texas Aggie Class of ’83, is the Managing Partner of Ring Ventures. Larry is a seasoned venture-backed technology executive and investor with multiple exits, including an IPO on the NASDAQ. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Olono, an AI platform for sales effectiveness (acquired by InsightSquared). Previously, he was CEO of Gazzang, provider of big data security software (acquired by Cloudera) and CEO of Phurnace Software, provider of DevOps software (acquired by BMC Software). Larry was also formerly a venture partner at AVLabs, the incubator fund of Austin Ventures, where he sourced new deals, tracked progress for follow-on investments, and coached founders in the areas of go-to-market strategy, team development, and fundraising. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president for both Siebel Systems and Documentum, Inc. At Texas A&M, he received a BBA in Marketing, was Student Body Judicial Board Chairman, a Cadet Lieutenant Colonel as the Adjutant of the Corps of Cadets, and a Buck Weirus Award winner.
