How to Strategically Invest in Seed Fund Deals: Intro to the AVG Basecamp Fund

Tuesday, October 6th, 2:00 PM EST

Can you imagine your return if you’d been in Google, Airbnb, or Amazon’s seed round? In 2019, over 20,000 seed and pre-seed rounds were raised. That’s a tremendous opportunity, since, at the seed stage, you have access to high-potential investments at their earliest stage, when valuations are lowest and their growth potential is greatest. It’s also a tremendous challenge: How do you begin to identify your best investing opportunities among all these deals?

In this 45-minute webinar, we’ll walk you through our answer to that question: the AVG Basecamp Fund. Our seed and pre-seed fund offers a diversified portfolio of ~100 deals invested over 12-15 months, with 25% reserved for follow-ons.

AVG’s CEO and CIO will discuss the asset class and the AVG Basecamp Fund, answering these questions.

  • What is the case for seed investing?
  • What’s the state of seed investing today?
  • How does the AVG Basecamp Fund build a portfolio?
  • What is unique about the Basecamp Fund?
  • What would an AVG Basecamp Fund investor’s portfolio look like?
