Hosted by Castor Ventures Partner, Cainon Coates
Please join us for a discussion with Sebastien Boyer, Co-Founder & CEO of FarmWise to learn more about their autonomous robots that perform a variety of farming functions, using machine learning models, computer vision, and high-precision mechanical tools. Additionally, Castor Ventures Partner, Cainon Coates, will share how he leveraged his roots as a farmer, raising pigs and harvesting produce, to make this investment.
FarmWise’s robots will help facilitate organic farming at scale. The company‘s first product is a fully autonomous weeder that replaces herbicides, saves growers labor costs, and increases the yield of the crops by working day and night to remove unwanted plants and weeds. FarmWise’s robots also collect plant and soil-level data more granularly and precisely than what drones or satellites could ever achieve allowing them to train their product to become smarter and provide better data to growers for a proactive approach to farming. The company intends to leverage this data and their fleet of robots to incrementally automate all cultivation tasks including soil tiling, planting, spraying, and fertilizing.

Join our webinar on Thursday, November 19th at 3pm ET to learn more about FarmWise and the future of farming.
FarmWise builds innovative systems and processes that allow farmers to streamline farm operations and increase food production efficiency. We leverage the best technology, such as recent advances in robotics and AI, and apply it to decide and perform plant-level interventions on the field. Unlike traditional agricultural service providers, farm equipment manufacturers and other farm robotics companies, we’re offering as a fully integrated service a technical infrastructure capable of precisely automating interventions on the field while capturing crop-level insights that help inform future interventions.
