Each Venture Club member has the opportunity to collaborate with other members but makes independent investment decisions. It’s your portfolio, your decision.

Michael Levy, GT ’09 is a Director in Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure practice. Over the past decade, he has advised Fortune 500 power & utility companies on strategic transformations and provided due diligence and growth strategy for private equity and investment banks investing in the energy transition. Michael has an MBA from Duke University, a BS in Industrial Engineering with highest honors from Georgia Tech, and certification in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technology from Stanford. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, and enjoys spending weekends on the lake.

Thomas Fowler, GT ’09 is currently a Treasurer for ExxonMobil’s Conventional Oil and Gas business, focused on Acquisitions and Divestments in the US and financing the growing oil production business in Kazakhstan. Prior to his current role, he served as a financial advisor for M&A in ExxonMobil’s Fuels and Lubricants business. Thomas began his career with ExxonMobil in 2010 and has progressed through a number of positions of increasing responsibility in both operations and finance. Thomas holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with highest honors from Georgia Tech. He grew up in Atlanta and now lives in Houston, TX with his family.

Ted Walker, GT ’96 is a Partner at Guidehouse (private equity-backed consulting merger between Navigant Consulting and PwC Public Sector consulting), leading the Southeast region for the Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure practice. Ted has 20+ years working with companies across the energy ecosystem, ranging from regulated utilities, competitive energy providers, investors (PE & VC), suppliers, public power, and regulatory entities. Ted has written several articles on the energy transition and decarbonization. Ted has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. After living in Chicago and DC for nearly 20 years, Ted now lives back in Atlanta with his family.
