Peter has 20+ years of experience as a business innovator, leader, and investor in Silicon Valley, Europe, and Asia. He is a member of the Forbes Global CEO network, has served on numerous boards, and done business in 40+ countries. His notable deals include Yandex, Xactly, and Qik (now Skype Mobile/Video), as well as startups in IoT, cloud services, big data, fintech, mobile internet, and data security. He is a Co-founder and seed investor of Silicon Valley Data Science, Co-founder Managing Partner of Almaz Capital, and a partner at Alloy Ventures. Before that, he was a founding member and operating executive with several startups. Peter has an MBA and BS in Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Sohila completed her undergraduate studies in Molecular Cell Biology and Neurobiology at Berkeley (’07), her doctoral studies in Neuroscience and Neuro-engineering, and her post-doctoral fellowship in Systems Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Computational Modeling at Cal Tech. By the age of 25, she had published over a dozen first author publications in leading scientific journals. By the age of 30, she founded three biotech and digital health companies (one has exited, the others are in diligence for acquisition). Sohila serves as an advisor to several biotech, digital health, and several accelerators, including UC Berkeley’s accelerator. She has also worked for leading VC firms, including Pacific Capital Hong Kong, BCG Digital Ventures, and Khosla Ventures.

Igor is the winemaker and owner of Sill Family Vineyards. He founded Geneva Venture Partners and was one of the initial seed investors in Salesforce.com along with Larry Ellison and Marc Benioff. Other notable investments include Zantaz (Autonomy), Siebel Systems, Tumbleweed, NetGravity, Extricity, FireEye, Callixa (SAP), Jaspersoft (Tibco), Coupa, Virtu Financial, RedOwl Analytics, Softcoin, iWitness and Weblogic (BEA Systems). He was also an early investor in Google. Additionally, he served as Managing Director of Hambrecht Geneva Ventures and was a LP in Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, Benchmark Capital, Norwest Ventures, Brentwood Associates, and SV Angels. Igor was educated at UC Berkeley and has an MBA from the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
Mario M. Rosati
Mario is a Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, specializing in corporate law, especially as it relates to tech companies. He also serves as the Managing Partner of WS Investments, which was a seed investor in Netflix and Google, plus an early partner to Amazon, LinkedIn, Apple, and Tesla. Previously, he was an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and the School of Law. Mario has sat as a judge pro-tem in the San Mateo County Superior Court. He also participated in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Task Force to the office of President-Elect Ronald Reagan. Mario received a JD from UC Berkeley and a BE from UCLA.
Michael was VP of Business Operations at MindMeld, a conversational AI technology startup acquired by Cisco Systems. He is currently leading business development efforts for Cisco’s Cognitive Collaboration group. Outside of Cisco, he helps evaluate new investment opportunities as a Venture Partner at Capital A Partners, a multi-sector transatlantic VC. Previously, he held investment roles at Samsung Ventures and was founding Head of Samsung Ventures Europe. Michael holds a BS in EECS from UC Berkeley, MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, and an MBA from MIT.
Libby Leffler Hoaglin
Libby is Vice President of Membership at SoFi, a personal finance company based in San Francisco. Before joining SoFi, she worked at Facebook, where she was business lead to the COO. Most recently, she led a media partnerships team focused on world leaders, influencers, and nonprofits. Prior to Facebook, she worked at Google. She is an active board member of INFORUM at the Commonwealth Club of California, fundraising co-chair of the HBS Class of 2017 One-Year Reunion, and a launch team member of LeanIn.Org. Libby holds a BS from UC Berkeley, where she was an Alumni Leadership Scholar and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Christina Bogatsky is the Chief Operating Officer of Decatur, responsible for operations and business development. Previously, Christina ran operations and production for global content partnerships at Twitter, collaborating with broadcasters, networks, and political organizations to drive engagement. She also ran Business Development at digital agency Moxie and oversaw digital distribution initiatives at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Christina launched her career in PE and investment banking. She earned her Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business and MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Community Engagement Fellow
Francesca currently works at a strategic management consulting firm advising clients who specialize in FinTech and other related financial services. Prior to consulting, she was on the product and business development team for an early stage consumer-focused health and wellness startup. She holds a B.A in American Studies: Policy and Politics of the Environment from the University of California, Berkeley. Francesca wrote her senior thesis on venture capital and green technology.
Community Engagement Fellow
Sonali is a recent graduate of the Executive MBA program at the Berkeley-Haas School of Business. She has built a career on improving programs and policies that lead to better outcomes for vulnerable populations through the non-profit, state government and federal government sectors. Sonali is currently based at a national policy-research institute where she consults with large systems on the metrics that demonstrate impact. Previously, she was a senior policy advisor at the White House in the Obama Administration.
UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business
Chandana is an MBA student at Berkeley–Haas with a B.S. in molecular biology from Carnegie Mellon University. Before Haas, she worked at Bio-Rad and Fluidigm, leading their genomics business as a product manager. Chandana focused on go-to-market strategy, new market development, and market research for disruptive DNA sequencing applications. While at Haas, she has established relationships with major UC incubators and accelerators and spends her free time mentoring founders.
Rubi Sanchez is passionate about creating amazing end user experiences for machine learning-related tech products. She now works at Atipica, an HR talent discovery engine for businesses. Previously, she was Co-founder of Cocoon Cam, a computer vision company that went from concept to presenting to President Obama to selling hardware product in a year. She is a UC Berkeley graduate with a background in product, strategy, and operations.
Mitch is a product leader with deep entrepreneurial experience helping founders execute go-to-market strategies for emerging technology and early-stage digital businesses. Mitch holds a BA from Michigan State University and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Janice is on the Global Operations team at Flexport, a startup automating the international supply chain, where she focuses on strategic sales development. Previously, she worked at Deutsche Bank as an Institutional Global Equity Sales covering hedge fund clients. She holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She is currently the Executive Producer of FashTech 2018.

Gui (Haas MBA ’18) comes with years of startup, sales, and product management experience. He is currently enrolled in the Berkeley Haas Full-Time MBA Program, where he is pursuing opportunities in pre-IPO companies and VC, which has included working in the Business Development team at Slack. Earlier, Gui spearheaded the development and go-to-market strategy of a money transfer app to target underbanked immigrants.

Investor Relations Manager
Prior to joining AVG, Chris was a Customer Advocate at Graphic Packaging and in Sales & Marketing at Putnam Investments, where he created materials for reps and investors. He’s a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Manning School of Business, where he studied Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Previously, Anne was an Applied Behavioral Analysis Counselor for Melmark and a medical biller for Physicians Resources. She is also a certified Certifiied Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, with her own clientele. Anne has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.

Prior to joining AVG, Hilary was a Staffing Executive and Program Manager at Robert Half. Previous positions include Retirement Planning & Guidance Consultant for Fidelity and an Investor Assistant for an independent investor. She has a Bachelor of Science, Business Management & Marketing from Fisher College.
Community Relations Manager
Jamie was the Clinical Secretary Sr for Pediatric Gastroenterology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Earlier, he served as a Claims Processor Associate and then a Senior Associate at Cigna Health. He has also served in multiple church youth ministries for over 15 years throughout Ontario, Canada, in many different cultural contexts. He was part of the adjunct faculty in the youth ministry department at Tyndale University College. He has a BA in Psychology from York University, a Masters of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
