BLOOM ENERGY is making clean, reliable energy more affordable through a solid oxide fuel cell that can generate its own power on-site and is commercially viable. Compared with traditional renewable energy, it delivers high efficiency and installation takes months, not years. Co-investors included New Enterprise Associates, Mobius Venture Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and GSV Capital.

LANDIT is a technology platform created to increase the success and engagement of women in their careers and to enable companies to attract, develop and retain high-potential diverse talent. By creating a personalized playbook, Landit puts women on the career trajectory they are aiming for with guidance, mentorship, and networks. The company was co-founded by Lisa Skeete Tatum and Dr. Sheila Marceo. Co-investors included Cue Ball Capital, Female Founders Fund, Morgan Stanley, and NEA.

JOPWELL is the first hiring and recruitment platform dedicated to connecting today’s top companies with talented diverse candidates from the most underrepresented minority groups. The company runs a national professional network for recent grads and experienced hires who are Black, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American and allows access to these community members by some of the leading employers in the country. Co-investors included round Cue Ball Ventures, Omidyar Network, Y Combinator, Kapor Capital, and Valar Ventures.

GROUPS offers opiate addiction clinics in under-served rural/suburban areas. Groups provides affordable, evidence-based treatment combining accountability and community with effective medication, counseling and technology. Co-investors included Bessemer Venture Partners.

DIVERGENT 3D produces the software and tech to enable the manufacture of greener, lighter, safer, locally made vehicles, creating a sustainable path forward for the car industry. With 3-D metal printers and techniques taken from the aerospace industry, the company will dramatically cut the cost and environmental impact of auto manufacturing. Co-investors included O Luxe Holdings and Horizons Ventures.
